Manufacturing various wall panels from cedar wood! A case study considering ways to reduce costs as much as possible.

We would like to introduce a case where our wood was supplied for the annex of a dental clinic in Niiza City, Saitama Prefecture, which has been in operation for 60 years. The project started with a request to use specific products that matched the envisioned space. Since it was a custom order, we considered ways to customize standard products while minimizing costs. ninkipen! We would like to introduce a case where our wood was supplied for the construction of a trophy designed by ninkipen! First-Class Architect Office. We received an inquiry about searching for cedar wood to be used for shelves and counters, and we proposed our "Nojimokumano Panel," which is manufactured to standard specifications. The 160mm wide boards are glued alternately with the wood face and wood back to prevent warping, and there are no joints in the length direction, allowing for a texture similar to solid wood. 【Overview】 ■ Design: ninkipen! Curved surface shapes through parametric design! A case study utilizing reclaimed cedar wood.

We would like to introduce a case where our timber was supplied to the break room of Artistree Co., Ltd., which was rebuilt due to aging. The cedar wood used was rejected during flooring production due to defects. This material was skillfully utilized. The cedar wood, carved into curves using a 5-axis CNC machine, is very expressive. Seeing the unique shapes of cedar that we cannot process has made us feel a new possibility to expand the scope of manufacturing.
